John has been in the financial services industry since 1993, starting as a property analyst at Old Mutual and later moving into the Private Clients division with Investec Private Bank. John then moved into portfolio management at Merrill Lynch and subsequently Barnard Jacobs Mellet. After specialising as a senior portfolio manager for a five year period, he became a founding member of IMI in September 2003. The IMI investment process is further strengthened by his property expertise and stock picking skills.

John has been in the financial services sector since 2002, concentrating on multi-manager investment offerings both locally and offshore. In October 2006 he founded Cameron Capital Management specialising in wealth solutions. In August 2008, Cameron Capital Management was incorporated into IMI. John has joined IMI as a Portfolio Manager since 2008.

Leo completed his Bachelor of Accountancy in 2005 (WITS). He completed his articles with KPMG, Industrial, Automotive and Pharmaceutical division and was admitted as a Chartered Accountant in 2008. Shortly after a brief secondment with KPMG Prague, he joined KPMG’s financial services audit department as a manager. Leonardo was responsible for a client portfolio focused on banking and micro-lending. Clients included Nedbank, Investec and RMB.

Fran has been in the Financial Services Industry since 1990. Starting her financial career at Investec Bank Limited working in the Corporate Finance Department. In 1996 she joined Merrill Lynch and reported to the Head of Research. She then relocated to Holland in January 1999 and joined Unilever Rotterdam where she undertook secretarial and administrative duties. On her return in May 2002 Fran joined Allan Gray Limited, she reported to the Head of Retail Distribution and then moved on to start up the Events Department. In 2016 Fran joined the IMI team as a Portfolio Administration Manager.
